Self care
So why is self-care important?
Busy life, deadlines, children and family commitments, career, mortgage and financial stress.
Are you feeling tired all the time? Lacking motivation? Experiencing self-doubt?
What’s it going to be, self-doubt or self-care?
Whoosh let’s shake off negativity and get CREATIVE!
Time to invest in you.
Self-introspection may be the key ingredient to setting sail for the next course of your life path In the spiritual context, this refers to the examination of your higher self.
Art Therapy has the power to take you deeper into your subconscious mind and make sense of combined thoughts and feelings that have been silently manifesting for a lifetime.
The subconscious mind is the quiet achiever, processing information through the body via the senses, patiently waiting to be noticed, or fiercely reacting to circumstances.
It's time to zoom in on you! A two-day deep reflection on a self-portrait. This two-day course will guide you through a therapeutic process coupled with the technical skills required to create a take-home art piece.

What to expect
You will be a part of a two-day group process. The group will form and emerge throughout the two days, coming together to support one another and then working individually for a time of self-reflection.

On day 1 you will use a variety of different art mediums to unlock creative potential and experience the materials through your senses. Being creative can be fun and exciting, an experience of wonder and pleasure through play and use the of imagination. The first day will encourage you to allow you to express yourself and let go. To lose oneself in the process and not be bothered with competing and comparing oneself. To notice that critic and tell it to nick off!
